cryptfiles.cloud is a modern file-sharing service with end-to-end encryption. You can share files securely and earn money from your uploads - without sacrificing your privacy.

Your files are encrypted end-to-end with XChaCha20-Poly1305. This means only you and the recipient can read the data. Even we as the provider cannot see your content. Encryption happens locally in your browser before anything is transmitted to our servers.

Yes! The Free plan is completely free and includes 10 GB storage, 10 GB/day bandwidth at full speed, and the ability to earn money from your uploads. Paid plans are optional and offer additional features.

All plans start at 30% revenue share. For high daily traffic (hot-traffic), a sliding scale applies:

• • 0-20 GB/day: 30% share
• • 20-100 GB/day: 25% share
• • 100-500 GB/day: 15% share
• • >500 GB/day: 10% share

Pro users retain a stable 30%, regardless of traffic. The sliding scale is a fair method of economically managing virality.

There are no hard bandwidth limits! Instead, your speed is adaptively reduced:

• Free: 0-10 GB: full speed | 10-50 GB: moderately throttled | 50+ GB: heavily throttled + Queue
• Premium: 0-100 GB: full speed | 100-250 GB: moderately throttled | 250+ GB: heavily throttled + Queue
• Pro: 0-1 TB: full speed | 1-10 TB: moderately throttled | 10+ TB: heavily throttled + Queue

You will not simply be cut off - throttling depends on server load and becomes more aggressive during peak hours.

Storage is included directly in the subscription plan:

• � Premium: 100 GB
• � Pro: 1 TB

Need more storage? With our extra storage add-on, you can always book additional space: €8 per TB per month, up to 100 TB, cancellable monthly.

Your files remain stored as long as you have an active subscription or credit in the system. After 12 months of inactivity, we may clean up inactive accounts. You will be notified beforehand.

Downloads and streaming are prioritised differently by plan:

• Free: Streaming up to 60 minutes per session
• Premium: Streaming up to 4 hours per session
• Pro: No time limit for streaming

Downloads are additionally subject to per-plan bandwidth tiers; throttling depends on load and is more noticeable during peak hours.

Yes! We support both. Streaming is often better for large video files as you do not have to wait for the full download. Videos are delivered with progressive streaming - you can start watching immediately. Bandwidth throttling applies to both usage methods.

Only Free users see ads during downloads:

• Free: 1 short video (max. 6-10 seconds) or banner
• Premium: No ads
• Pro: No ads

Max. 1 ad per download. Free plan only.

Payouts are made on-demand - you can request a manual payout at any time (minimum: €10). After a 14-day earnings hold (anti-piracy measure), the funds are transferred to your Stripe Express account. From there, Stripe automatically pays out to your registered payment method (bank account or debit card).

No! We have a separate model:

• • Revenue Share: Revenue share: what you earn from downloads (30% for all plans, sliding scale for hot-traffic)
• • Storage/Subscriptions: Storage/subscriptions: a separate charge

No offsetting. Your earnings are independent of your costs.

No. We filter out bot traffic, VPN farms and invalid referrers. Only "qualified traffic" counts towards your revenue share. This protects the system from abuse.

No. Your uploaded files are private. You decide who you send a link to. The link is encrypted and can only be accessed with the correct token.

We store logs for security purposes (abuse detection, DDoS protection), but no personal profiles of guests. These logs are deleted regularly.

Our object storage is located in Sweden (EU). The entire infrastructure is GDPR-compliant. All data remains within the European Union.

Yes. We fully comply with GDPR. For businesses, we also offer a DPA (Data Processing Agreement).

We do not tolerate the following:

• • Illegal content (copyrighted works, CSAM, etc.)
• • Malware or viruses
• • Bot traffic or fake downloads
• • Phishing or scam
• • Harassment or hate content

Violations may result in account suspension.

Since all files are end-to-end encrypted, we cannot view or scan content on the server side. We rely on a DMCA takedown process: rights holders can submit reports via our form. Confirmed violations result in deletion of the affected files. Repeated violations lead to account suspension.

Per upload: max. 5 GB (Free), 50 GB (Premium), unlimited (Pro). These limits prevent abuse while maintaining flexibility.
